Our admissions policy is part of the local authority coordinated scheme. Parents/carers will need to complete an application form for admission into secondary school. The application form should be available from your child’s current school or can be downloaded at South Tyneside Council School Admissions webpage.
The application form must be returned either online or by post to South Tyneside Council’s School Admissions Team by Friday 31st October 2025 at 4.30pm. Any applications received after this date will be considered 'Late' applications.
The admissions team will notify parents/carers which school their child has been offered a place at on Monday 2nd March 2026, via email if you applied online or by post if you completed a paper application.
If you need to speak to someone about school admissions, please contact the Schools Admissions team on 0191 424 7704 or email school.admissions@southtyneside.gov.uk. School admission arrangements can be accessed on the South Tyne Council Secondary School Admissions 2025/2026 webpage.
